3D Secure.
3D Secure – Card24, is a reliable, fast and powerful authentication system based on JSON, which adds additional security to online card payments.
This protocol was adopted by Visa under the name “Verified by Visa” and also deployed by MasterCard “Secure Code”. To enable cardholder authentication, each client authenticates to Card24 ACS.
The ACS verifies the data entered by the cardholder and gives at the end a result of success or failure; this result will be transmitted by the customer’s browser to the Merchant Plug-In who verifies this result.
